Any tips natives willing to share? What to do or what to avoid?

Would also be interested to meet local Freaks members but it's very short stay and too busy schedule, so maybe another time.

When I was in Copenhagen some years ago for a computer show I was told to avoid the dock area at night. I wandered round the red light district one evening - there was an enormous gay club in a sort of warehouse building and a group of about 20 people on the opposite side of the road who seemed to be exchanging money for small packets of something or other. Apart from that, and lots of sex shops, I didn't see anything interesting.

They would have been AVRs, if anything. Norway is quite close to Denmark.

Yes but Trondheim is about 800km from the northern tip of Denmark.

I went to Denmark once but it appeared to be shut.

(actually I flew there in an exec jet with Lord Alan Sugar - having him serve the coffee (he was closest to the machine) was quite a treat!)

The "shopping street" in Copenhagen was quite impressive.

Well, after a controlled emergency landing to Copenhagen in a sardine can, I am still in one piece. The next flight to Karup was with a bigger plane.

And how the hell you can guess these things, I did not avoid the delicious beer of course, and, I was carrying boxes with Microchip logos on them, but they were just used for packing non-Microchip stuff! Is someone spying on me or what?

The Red Pimpernel (café) in Copenhagen was an interesting experience: I was single then Wink

I have never been to Denmark, I've visited Sweden and Holland many times, and I feel sure that Denmark is like a composite of the two.
I have never encountered Lord Sugar, either, although I believe he is a keen ceramicist, who talks to his creations.

However, I did once have breakfast with Nolan Bushnell at the Connaught Hotel.
And I have beaten Minnesota Fats at pool in Las Vegas.
