Might get a bigger response in the AVR32 forums.

| Still learning the interfaces for SDRAM chips... umm... do u think it would be possible for UC3A to talk to a 32bit SDRAM? Rather than using 2 of 16bit chips? |

| No, I don't think that is possible because the MCU external data bus is 16 bit. The AVR32 AP7000 chips have 32 bit data bus, but that product is "mature" (avoid using it in new design). |

hhm.. ok. Also it seems UC3A0xxx series seems to be the only one that supports EBI as well as ethernet MAC...
What options do I have if I use the UC3A3 or UC3A4 series? I am keen to try these new ones but no ethernet |

Guys I am looking at the MT48LC32M16 (micron) and the H5DU5162ETR (hynix) SDRAM...
but I am consfused why there are such price differences between to two. Hynix is considerably cheaper. But it has 66pins instead of the micron one which has standard 54pins....
Which one to use with an UC3C0512? |
