before choosing my MCU and digging to it, I would like to know

I need fast ADC sampling and sending results to PC (not real time), so using the XMEGA-A1 Xplained look great

in practical how fast (sample per second) I can use the 12 bit ADC with saving the results to the on board sdram

Ok
did some reading and it look like the ADC have some problems

so basically I need to know how fast (or can it be done) using ADC to SDRAM sampling for at least 8bit conversion

for not real time fast sampling (storing and later reading)

Apart from resolution, maximum ADC conversion in XMEGA A can be 2MSPS and DMA can be used for saving results.

just to be sure it can be programed to run at 2MSPS
with dma from ADC direct to the SDRAM (on board 8 mbyte)
allowing for 4 sec recording in 12 bit resulotin (16 bit dma transfer)
using the Xplained board?
