In my browser when I press F7 it says:

This has got to be the most confusing thread this month. I lost track right at the OP.

Shucks! Well past 24 hours and yet no sign of OP back to explain what in the name of all that is holy he's talking about Sad

He is, of course from Kathmandu so is this one of those journeys of inner discovery and knowing oneness he has sent us on so that we all may know ourselves better?(*)

(*) if that sounds like bollocks then that's because there is a reason. I cannot however tell you what that reason is - that is for you to discover.

King Samperi looked at his watch, then shook his head. It had been what, 23 minutes, since he started waiting for the Universe to respond to his URGENT HELP!!!!!!!! request, and It still hadn't replied? What good is a universe that doesn't respond immediately?

He reluctantly decided to take matters into his own hands, which really wasn't very Royal, but these were desperate times. Usually matters he might otherwise take into his own hands the Keiras would manage for him. They were definitely some versatile young athletes, although he assured everyone he only looked to them for their views on philosophy and epistemology.

He looked to the iPad beside him, and wondered how it might help him find a topic for his upcoming best seller, the book that would make him rich and famous. As he contemplated sitting beside Oprah, having her breathlessly probe him for his secrets of artistic success, a long forgotten saying of Rama Dama Ding Dong floated into his daydream. "Google is your friend" came the ghostly advice from the past. The King's protective memory mechanism mercifully truncated the rest: "and your only friend."

Google! Why hadn't he thought of it before? Plagarism is the past time of Kings, he thought, but he didn't bother to consider Queens, Dukes, and all those others he could never remember, all the way down to those peasants or pissants or whatever they were called. He reached for his iPad and within minutes was writing his book.

Now what? thought the King, who was way too cheap to pay any subscription for anything that didn't include live descriptions of certain lurid fantasies, and not creative enough to continue the story. He thought for a while, rested, then thought some more. Finally, he said aloud in his best Oxford educated, corduroy jacket, pipe smoking caricature, "That's quite a lot for one day, I'd say, old chap" and switched off his iPad.

The answer is 42.

That's neat. Bob Hope's old buddy Crosby has his own web site with a search front end.

The latest browsers use combinations of keys and gestures. With mine you simply press all the prime numbered function keys while licking the trackpad.

I don't understand a word, or a byte, or a bit of this entire thread. Except Uncle Bob's Bing Crosby reference, but then I have a soft spot for the geriatric references.

Translating from Nepali to English via Russian analytic mentality:

Bishal wants his Chrome browser to reload a page on pressing F7 as he's accustomed to do in AVR Studio. He's upset when he's pressing the habitual F7 in Chrome and nothing happens.

Tip for freaks: that's an elegant humor which only can be understood by Nepali, Brits and Russs Laughing

Tip for bishal: search for some programmable keys plugin for Chrome - most likely you'll find what you need.

OK, so he sees a Build in AVR Studio to be something like a Refresh in a browsr. Kinda weird if you ask me, but to each his own..

Since F5 means Refresh not only in browser but in many other applications an alternative would be to have Studio rebuild with F5 rather than F7. One can remap keyboard key in AVR Studio by going to the Tools menu, Customize, then the Commands tab and finally click the Keyboard... button.
