Has anyone in Australia purchased anything from the store? Any idea on shipping costs?

I'm trying to get a STK500 for my neighbour (auto electrician, electronics guy wannabe...)

The choices so far:
Atmel store $79.00 + Shipping??
RS $102.00 pick up
Farnell $169.92 free shipping.

RS special seems ok depending on the Atmel store shipping costs.

John,

Robocase, in Trading Post Section, has an STK500 up for sale.

Perhaps an eMail / PM to him would be worth it.

I saw that but I would like my neighbour to have a new unit...just in case.

It will be me suffering if anything goes wrong. Laughing

A couple of weeks back I checked the Atmel store for a Dragon board. They wanted USD21 for DHL freight ex Malaysia.

Ok so $79.00 + $21.00 would be $90.00 (ok picky people it's $100 bucks Embarassed ), the price from RS is not too bad then. They are close by so my neighbour can pick it up, it looks like they are now offering free shipping anyway.
