Well, last night I held a Pi in my hands so I have no reason to doubt that they do exist.
Had mine a few days. Simply amazing for something costing less than a good bottle of wine.
Running Linux, Ethernet, HDMI high res, a Web Browser, network file shares, SSH, VNC remote desktop server, and so on. Oh, embedded GPIO too. Mostly plug and play. |

Would there be less attention paid had Raspberry Pi been named "M3203"
(there is such a RPi alike for sale) |

| Oh no. The name is at least as important as the product. |

| Just short of a year since the thread started. I guess the mass of all those Pi's slows time in the vicinity of the Raspberry factory? |

So said a wise person the early days of my career:
"The genius is in the Marketing, not the Engineering!"
(but then too, RPi is a not-for-profit endeavor, so it is said.) |

Maybe this is old news, but HERE is a clear plastic case for the Raspberry Pi, from SFE.
