AVR32Studio won't build on 64bit Win 7

I upgraded from 32 bit Vista to 64bit Win 7. Now no matter what I do the build shows the message "Nothing to build for project xxxx". Any idea what is going on?

I have tried and cleaned the project, deleted the enire debug folder, introduced errors in the source code and nothing changes. I have also the latest version of JRE installed.
