| I would not call something with a screen resolution of 800x480 a "tablet". Even the iPod touch has a higher resolution than that. |

| I'd steer clear of resistive touch screens, personally. |

I assume our tolerances will vary. Mine: 10in at 1024*600; so 7in at 800*480 seems OK. The forthcoming models are 7in at 1024*600; if not adequate, plug in monitor or TV via HDMI (except for NOVO7 Paladin). |

| There's a reason why you pay 5x for a Samsung or 8x for an Apple Ipad. Nevertheless, a great bit o hardware for little cost. Makes the raspberry pi look a little lame. |

| Certainly there are iPads that cost as much as $800, but why would you compare the low end version of this device with the high end version of the iPad? |

My 10 in. Android tablet (Acer) cost $0.00.
Traded some airline miles. They even paid the postage. |

I'm not talking about the high end Ipad. Mine is middle of the range. Suffice it to say, buy oneof these cheapies but don't expect the same experience as say an Ipad or Galaxy. |
