I tried standard VS feature known as "code format" in AS5 by pressing Ctrl+K+F but nothing happens. It does not act as expected and did not format the code at all.

In VS it formats same code nicely.

Could anyone confirm the same?

I hope you don't work for Telstra.

Excuse me?

So far only one confirmation, I'm thinking about posting this issue as a bug, because expected behavior is different from that I have.

Yup, it doesn't work, and we are aware of the problem. The code formatting logic in Visual Studio is actually implemented by the VC++ language service, and our language service doesn't do it yet.

Telstra was the Australian telephone company before it got sold off like everything else here. Sad Now it's a public company in the business of ripping people off and not providing any service.

Hello everybody! I also found this bug in AVRStudio 5 with code formatting failing to work. I described a workaround method in this thread > http://www.avrfreaks.net/index.php?name ... 801#891801

May be it will be useful for anybody else.
