Hi, everybody out there,
i just finished installing the Studio 5 beta.
OS: MS WIN XP professional SP3
I had some 'VSIXInstaller'-errors #1872 and #256 and was asked, if i'd like to debug during installation.
I answered 'No' three times at three different error points and installation proceeded.
Now AVRStudio5, the Visual Studio10 and .NET 4.0 are installed.
But i can't even Start the studio. I always get the error box
"Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation."
I already tried yesterday and uninstalled all the stuff again...
Has anyone any idea, what this means?
Any help is appreciated...
Regards
Andi |

Not that it contain a solution, but you should be aware of this thread:
http://www.avrfreaks.net/index.php?name ... invocation
(And had you done your search-before-posting you could have posted a "me too" to that thread, rather than creating this and adding to the static ) |

Thanks for the tip, Johan.
Search-before-posting: I did. I saw that post before.
But reviewing it, i apparently must have messed the 'posted' date with MrKite's 'joined' date, so sth. in my head implied this was an old thread from 2009.
Silly, Studio5 is not that old and indeed last posting was March 22 2011 ,-)
OKokokok.. mea culpa.. i go on there... |
