I want to program in Tiny25 with HVSP. I'm certain the jumpers are correct on the Dragon. However there is no HVSP option in the "AVR Programming Dialog". All I get to choose from in the Interface drop down is ISP.

How do I enable HVSP?

Why do I need to, because my Dragon met with an accident when I was using the ISP. So I've removed the voltage comparitor and hardwired volts from the USB connector, as detailed in a number of posts. The Dragon powers up fine. Not sure if this is why HVSP is unavailable.

BTW I like Studio 5.

I realise I should have titled this. "Does HSVP work with AVR Studio 5 and Dragon?"

Good that you think about it. But the title is clear. No worries.
If you want you can edit your own post and change the title. I can do it for you, but it's good to learn these things.

As for your question: AVRStudio5 is still beta. So I suggest you keep using AVRStudio4 for what MUST be done. And AVRStudio5 for testing.

Thanks for the comment Plons.

I hadn't considered reverting to AVRStudio4 because Studio5 seems so close. I also considered it as most likely some configuration issue with Studio5 that I didn't understand.

I'll try AVRStudio4 later.

Hi.

I am sorry, but HVSP on the AVR Dragon is not yet supported.

The issue number for this problem is 13830.

Is the bugzilla (or whatever system it is you use) available online?

No, this is an internal issue tracking database only.

I can confirm HVSP works fine with AVRStudio4. A real shame, I was enjoying using 5.
