AVR032: Linker Command Files for the IAR ICCA90 Compiler
Updated: Feb 24, 2005
Description
When blocks of code are assembled or compiled with the IAR assembler or compiler the generated code is relocatable. This means that it has no absolute addresses in memory. In order to link together the code blocks the linker needs to be told where to place the blocks of code in memory. This application note describes the memory segments and includes examples of linker command file for the IAR development tools.
