AVR-LiP (AVR Lab-in-Pocket) developed by DeccanRobots is ATmega32 based experiment + development board.

The AVR Lab-in-Pocket (LiP) ATmega32 Board features an on-board In-System Programmer (ISP) circuit that allows you to program the AVR microcontroller via a PC's serial port. The on-board photo sensor, temperature sensor and potentiometer which is connected to the AVR's A/D converter allow you to perform various analog experiments. Also, the LEDs, 4x4 (external) keypad, buzzer, 2x16 LCD, Infra-red receiver and RS232 cover the machine and human interfaces.

With its rich feature set and integrated ISP programmer, this board is ideal for educational and training purposes

  • 2x5 JTAG connector for in-circuit debugging and programming
  • On-board In-System Programming circuit which allows the board to be programmed via PC serial (RS232) port
  • Atmel ATmega32 microcontroller in 40-pin DIP socket
  • 2x16 character LCD
  • Infra-red (IR) receiver
  • Photo Sensor
  • Temperature Sensor
  • Variable Resistor (Potentiometer) for ADC Experiments
  • RS232 Transceiver, 9-pin Sub-D connector
  • Buzzer
  • Real-Time Clock using DS1307
  • 4 User LEDs and 2 Push Buttons. Push buttons can be used as simple I/O or as external interrupts.
  • Expansion connector for the 4x4 keypad
  • Board can be powered from a 9V battery or via the on-board voltage regulator by using a 9V DC power adapter.
