NPE USB Pocket Programmer
Updated: Oct 27, 2007
The NPE USB Pocket Programmer is a portable programming solution for the Atmel AVRŽ 8-bit RISC microcontroller family. The versatile USB Pocket Programmer attaches directly to the USB port of your PC to load a target image. Disconnect it and throw it into your pocket. Take it to the field, lab or manufacturing floor then connect it to the target device to program. When programming the USB Pocket Programmer is powered directly from the target system.
The USB Pocket Programmer uses the same application as the standard NPE Pocket Programmer, all that is required is the USB driver. The USB Pocket Programmer can be ordered with either the new 6-pin STK500 programming header or with the standard 10-pin programming header.
The pocket programmer contains enough internal memory to program devices up through the 128K MEGA devices in the AVR family.
The Pocket Programmer Image Loader Application, which is used to load the target image, runs on Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition OS and above.
