Atmel AVR IBIS model files

Updated: Jan 20, 2005

Description

IBIS Models provide input/output buffer and package modeling information for use in board-level signal integrity simulations.

This collection of IBIS-files is applicable according to these guidelines:

The mega8-versions can be used for all shrink upgrades and new 35.5 parts
that have IO-buffers with normal drive-power. NOT the ones with low driverpower.
The s4433 versions can be used for 19.9/19.6 parts with SR-IO buffers.
The s8515 versions can be used for all 19.9/19.6 parts with standard IO buffers.
For low voltage parts like mega169, mega162 and Tiny13; no IBIS models are available.

I.e:
2,7–5,5V 355k parts like ATmega8, ATmega16, ATmega32, ATmega64, ATmega128,
ATmega8515 and ATmega8535 uses the GPIOPAD.ibs file for all port pins.
In addition some of these parts has I2C pads and pads with bus keeper.

A map showing applicable ibis-files for all parts is available in the included excel worksheet, "ibis.xls".
