Summary

System on a chip. This device has it all. Some people chose it just for it's 4kB internal SRAM. An improved version is available, the ATmega128L. This is a drop in replacement, and customers who already converted reported zero problems with the upgrade. This device was also available in a 5V version, ATmega103.

The ATmega103L is no longer being produced, and Atmel has no more parts in inventory.
