Summary

As small as AVRs get. It's pretty much just 6 I/O, one timer and the CPU. If that's all you need, it's perfect. In the SOIC package, it'll fit in pretty tight spots. If you need some more features, or need to run at 1.8V, check out the ATtiny12. This device is also available in a 3V version, ATtiny11L.
