Preview the new AVR Freaks site

Posted by Michael@Atmel on Tuesday, August 26, 2014

After many hours of development, testing, and debugging (and doing it all over again multiple times), we are now ready to let the entire community preview the new site. Special thanks go out to the group of AVR Freaks members (the moderators and a select group of users) who gave their valuable time and feedback to make this possible. Now, this is your chance to become familiar with what will be the new AVR Freaks site.

Please verify your email address

Posted by Michael@Atmel on Friday, July 11, 2014

As we near the launch of the new AVR Freaks site, we'd like to ask everybody to verify that their account, here, is using a valid and current email address. We will be migrating all user accounts in a couple of weeks to prepare the new site for its launch.

We'll be asking that all users reset their passwords on the new site which requires a valid email address as part of the process.

The new site will use a much more advanced and secure encryption protocol, than this site, for passwords. We want to ensure that all user accounts are secure and recommend using a new password.

If you have any questions, you can reply to the forum announcement here: Please verify your email address

AVR Course Book

Posted by billcollis on Sunday, September 16, 2012

This is a textbook that I have written to support my high school students learning using the AVR for their technology projects. We have 300 students who learn to program the AVR and some do neat things.
The book is no charge, its almost 1000 pages of learning.
It starts with Bascom and does some C and C++
(I am interested in any C++ gurus feedback on what I have written)

The complementary software I have written is also free.
And there are a lot of students projects on my website as well.
