Hello,

I came across this trigger transformer coil TCP-6002 from this link here http://www.xenonflashtubes.com/components.html

I found them on ebay.in some time ago but I forgot what they are commonly called. Looks like they amplify the voltage to upto 22KV and are used to drive xenon flashtubes. Could anyone tell me what these are generally called and under what name I can find them on ebay?

What's wrong with "trigger coil" and/or "trigger transformer" - they seem like good, descriptive names.

Add "Xenon" if you want to be specific.

Don't forget that google can also do an image search: https://www.google.com/intl/en-4...

EDIT - example - using the first image from the page you linked:

http://www.xenonflashtubes.com/trigger-coil-transformer.html

They sell the "trigger transformer", the flash tubes, and the primary side caps, etc.
