Hi everyone, I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction on a project. I'm at the point where I'm trying to swap out components and shop around to get my unit cost down before I order an initial run of 1,500. So far Alibaba/Aliexpress/Taobao have been my goto, but I still feel like I could be doing much better on the component pricing. The estimates I've received for 1,500+ pieces usually sit around

~$5.50 eMMC(KLM8G1GEAC-B001)
~$4.00 SDRAM(K4B4G1646D-BCK0)
~$4.00 SOC/PMU(A64/AXP803)
~$4.00 Radio/PMU(P6212)

These prices are good, but they're still incredibly high compared to what some of the Chinese RPi clone companies (FriendlyARM, OrangePi) must be getting to be profitable. My question is if there's anything I can do short of purchasing in higher volumes? What other marketplaces can I use to find suppliers?

Any help would be great, thanks!
