Anyone using an RDA5807M for RDA/RDA reception? These cheap FM radio ICs are popular and some people have used with an Arduino or Raspberry Pi, but the amount of information on them is quite limited.

The datasheet is incomplete. There are some bits in the registers that you need to set or you won't receive anything, which are only documented in the programming guide which is in Chinese. I'll post some code when I get home illustrating this.

There are a few libraries floating about, but they seem to be broken and don't handle the most important thing - validating the RDA data.

The chip reports zero bit errors, but the data is still incorrect sometimes. There is no obvious way to validate the data either. Anyone have any experience with this part?
