Hi there,

I am working for new factory that likes to get in the electronics area. I am trying to find a manufacturer of electronics pcbs and electronics components soldering, in european union (if possible).

I just want to send him the gerber files and all information is needed for the electronics to be soldered (TH and SMD).

Do you have any idea?

Michael.

Where I used to work we used Newbury Electronics, I think they still do.

I've used their PCB service for my own boards a couple of times. You might be better off finding somewhere local, though.

I don't know about their soldering capabilities (this service was not available when i worked with them two years ago), but their boards were all good and the cheapest i have found.

Last nice surprise they gave me was scoring the rounded contour of some 100 boards for power supplies as it was in gerber files. I didn't expect them to have such machine and do that without being asked.

Here is another one http://www.bkdelectronic.ro/index.php a bit closer to you. I didn't work with them but all i know is they did a big UE funded investment in this PCB and assembly line.

Does the "european union" still like Greece or will they be worried about getting paid?

I won't critisize your answer, since that wasn't a reply to my question. Besides, I would like to suggest you to read deeper the international history (I am not talking about only the ancient history, but of course I include it).

Anyway. Thank you.

What sort quantity?
I have bue a pick&place and working with another compagny to do large volum.
I am in Norway but if the price is more important factor, see poland. It is quiet good compagny with modern machine.
Best regard.

PS: I am using eagle and if your layout is make with eagle, than it is free programmering of pick&place. If you can not delivery MyData format than it cost money to programmering.
PCB / stencil --> I buy from china www.myropcb.com
good price for low / medium volume
Best regard

I am talking about 100 pcs to start up and up to 5000 pcs for normal production.

I am using the Altium. Could you please post the name or the link for the company in Polland?

Thank you.

Yes, we do. There are 4 companies near me doing that thing, but I think that I can find higher reliability and lower cost.

Marocco? What do you mean? Buying from from Marocco (it's the first time that Marocco comes in my ears, in the electronics area), is like buying from China. Both of them are out of the EU.

I would apreciate any company name.

Thank you.

Michael.

I checked up on Morocco, and there is a rapidly growing electronics industry there.

I can not give you a name if I have not experience with compagny.
Make board "far away" need a design "well done" and I will make first near your office to have control or have a feedback form another user.
your volum are no so big but big enough to want spare money.
you can ask "myropcb.com" to quote the production. They make pcb and can produce too.

Here is a cheap PCB made at Electra (link above) in 2006.

11.5 x 9 cm = 103.5 sq cm
single side, no PTH, top silk screen, bottom solder mask
, project made with Altium Protel DXP.
Price: 1.42 euro/piece / 50 pieces order. Two weeks delay for this small order.

You should ask a quote from them, because they were reliable and the cheapest i could find. The only drawback is they are limited to 2 layers, PTH.

Hi Michael,

Probably is too late because the comment is old,

My company works with them, we fully recommend them.
Check their web and let me know I am sure you will be happy.
