All my tools worked fine under Studio 6.2 - STK500, Dragon, AVRISP Mk. II and latest addition Atmel-ICE - but after "upgrading" to Studio 7 none of them are working :-(
I get the usual error :
Failed to enter programming mode. ispEnterProgMode: Error status received: Got 0xc0, expected 0x00 (Command has failed to execute on the tool)
I tried to connect to projects that works fine, done with different AVR's, including the one I just made for a customer with a ATTiny261A (brand new IC out of protected delivery container) - no difference, they all give me the message above - no matter the tool connected.
I tried to debug with the Atmel-ICE just in case I for some reason had them all (the different IC's) in DebugWire mode => message asking ; Do you want to use ISP to select DebugWire ?
All IC's (except the new ATTiny261A) was programmed using Studio 6.2, using the tools I have without any problems ...!... but not now.
So do I uninstall Studio 7 and try again - or even install Studio 6.2 again ...?... or any better suggestions ?
My system is a Windows 7, I5, 16GB.
