All USBASP programmers can program EEPROM.

Just use avrdude e.g.

avrdude -c usabasp -p ATmega328P -U flash:w:project.hex -U eeprom:w:project.eep

I don't know what you mean by "ProgISP" software.

The Chinese ProgISP1.72 GUI application can program the EEPROM.

Quite honestly,   I find avrdude a lot easier to use.

Hi David,

My problem is not how to program AVR EEPROM.

My problem is How to program I2C EEPROM Chip (AT24CXXX) with USBASP?

I have no idea.    I can't read Chinese !!

I suspect that you need special hardware for ProgISP1.72 to work with 24Cxxx eeprom.

Why not just use your AVR to program the 24Cxxx?

What is the board in your photo?

If you want to program 1000s of 24Cxxx chips,   you need a ZIF socket.    OTOH,   you can always program an I2C chip in its final location.    This is why you just solder all the SMD chips,   then program any firmware with ICSP (in-circuit-serial-programming)

Programmer:AVR

You are going to have to be more specific than that!

Do you really have an external 20MHz clock module? These normally have FOUR pins.
It looks as if your Flash memory was successfully programmed.
Is it really a USBISP that will only work with Progisp1.72 ?
Or is it a regular USBASP that will work with avrdude?
David.

You are select CKSEL fuse bits to Internal RC Osc 8Mhz. and enable CKDIV8 then your AVR clocked at 1Mhz Not 20MHz external Oscillator.

You must set CKSEL to Ext Crystal Osc; Frequency 8.0-  MHz.

and Disable CKDIV8.
