Lets say I have a generator or a smart charger with a microprocessor in it trying to carge my batteries in my aux power system, and I also want to have my PV panels and charge controller charging the battery at the same time. Seems like one charger would see the 14.4V charge voltage coming from the other charger and think 'ok, 14.4v, battery is charged, time to shut off'. So the general question is how to 'mix' several charger sources into a battery... big .1 ohm resistors getting hot? big diodes getting hot? A bunch of relays wired up like jeopardy where only one is on at a time? I'm sure there is a simpler answer that I've never heard of....
