Hi
I have an old Asus 40x cd-rom and i want to build
a robot with ATmega2560. i think of using the main motor of the
cd-rom for exact rotation and use a cd for making
the wheel of my robot.
but i have a problem !
i do not know how to find the pinout of motor
cable.the cable have 11 wire.
there is no part number on the motor
and i think the motor driver is BD7905FS
please if somebody knows any thing help me!

I think there's still a couple of forums that you've missed posting this same thread to. Try reading the guidelines at the top of each forum.

The driver IC is from ROHM. Please check the web side for datasheet. After checking, you can follow the traces. The motor should be a three phase motor with three hall elements on board.

sorry for OT, but last post from my side.

a) connect all requires votages to the chip.
b) set the control 1,2 pins.
c) set the "reference voltage " to the reference pins
d) connect a DC voltage to the "spindle_in" pin
is this voltage higher than Vref, the motor will turn.
If DC is lower than Vref, the motor will brake active.

thats all

You don't seem to have got the message. STOP posting to this thread and create a new one about your questions in the AVR Forum - http://www.avrfreaks.net/index.p... - which is where you should have posted this in the first place.
