Hi,

I've just updated Visual Studio to last version but when I try to upload SW on a SAMD21 Xplained Pro board I see a screen saying that i have to update the firmware of the board from 3.22 to 3.25.

I do but even if it says that the firmware is successfully updated the version on tool is still 3.22 and as soon as i try to load SW again I'm back to square one.

I'm blocked now! I can't upload SW anymore inside the board.

Any suggestion?

Thanks,

Filo

Either change the mode from mass storage to DGI (view-available tools-right click the edbg-kit mode), or go to tools-options-tools and set 'check firmware' to false.

Thanks Moelsen,

I've finally disabled the check and i can program the board now.

I won't flag this as a solution because i think that having the firmware version check is convenient...

Thanks again!

Yes, it is. We're looking into the issue at the moment.

Try this. I had the same issue.

In Available Tools' window of Atmel Studio check if the device is in MSD mode; rightclick -> Kit mode settings, Select mode to DGI.

Mine was set to Auto.
