I designed an APRS TNC using an ATMEGA324p about 5 years ago. Been using it since and it works great. Finally figured I'd put the design and source code up in the projects area in case some folk want to expand on the design etc.

Anyhow, I have the schematic up (as a PDF), but can't seem to get the source code up (in a ZIP).

I keep getting an error every time I try to 'save' the file - cryptic error saying it can't load the savefile module or something like that. Is there some 'magic' to get a ZIP file uploaded?

Edit: The message I get is:

Failed to load module Freaks Files (at function: "saveFile")

cheers,
george.

The zip file contains the source code (.c .h and the .aps files). Total size of the .zip if 17.4kbytes, so hardly a size issue - unless it's too small :)

Does any file contain a % sign? If so you may have to add a space between the % and any other character which follows it,and of course make a note about that in the file.

It is also possible that the APS file is not allowed so you may want to try and rename it as from "filename.aps" to "filename aps.txt".

Thanks for the suggestions, but the files are just alpha characters with .c and .h extensions, i.e. no symbols, underlines, underscores etc etc.

I tried removing the aps file so there were ONLY .h and .c files and that didn't work either.

Weird...

george.

I mean within the FILE itself like using
printf ("% d",var);

if I did not put a space after the % sign I could not post this.

I can't really imagine that the project uploader cares what characters are inside a file within a zip file.

Anyhow, there's other projects that have c files, so I think it is something either really stupid I'm doing or something is broken.

Note again (in my first post) the cryptic error message that comes from this website when I try to upload the file. Seems more like some broken server side code.

cheers,
george.

Ok, just tried again for grins (probably tried 30 or 40 times during the past few hours) and this time IT WORKED. Nothing changed at my end.

So, it would appear likely to have been some issue with the avrfreaks site. Anyhow, whatever it was has fixed itself and my zip file is now in my project area.

Thanks for trying to help.

cheers,
george.

I've also uploaded pictures of the unit I built (into the project folder), another zip file.

Here's once picture of the 'guts':

You are 5 years too late.

But if you had read the thread you would have seen that the project has already been uploaded here. No need for someone to spoon feed you.
