Where can I purchase ATtiny15L in USA?

There are alot of different distis in the US. So I guess it depends on which state you live in.
Currently the best list of distis is on the Atmel site, but we are working on getting up a better disti page here on avrfreaks!
I would also like to know where I can actually ORDER the ATTiny15 devices from (in prototyping quantities).
I have yet to find any distributors who actually HAVE STOCK of this device.
Note the distributors on the ATMEL site are those who are supposed to be distributing the devices, a far cry from actually having the devices to sell!
Salt Ash, AUSTRALIA
I am exactly in the same situation. I need a few of them for prototype but so far no luck on getting it at all.
Any one has a quick source, please! (state of California)
I got samples from All American
Just to know
A Stk200 can program the Tiny15L
Take tiny22 and then don't check the device.
Just a comment: Though you may be able to ISP the ATtiny15L because the SPI interface is pin-compatible with the ATtiny22, there are other differences. The AVR ISP software will think it's a tiny22, and the Fuses and Lock Bits can then be a problem, because their addresses are different in the tiny15.
Please take care when you override any functions. You must know what you're doing :)
Have you all joined the STK500 competition? I haven't because I've already got one, but then there's more for you!

I got a stk100 to my tiny 15L and got problems. Thats why I tryed to use my skt200 because it can ISP, it seems that the stk100 can't (only with 12v ??).
And yes write the code for the tiny15 and then program it in the 8 pin socklet of the stk 200 and use it somwhere else (if you use the analog inputs)
And for ISP don't disable the reset pin !!!
There are some issues programming the ATtiny15L in the STK500, but matters are usually resolved by opening the SOUND jumper. Have you tried this?
Amen to the RESET pin thing! :)
FirstI got a stk100 not 500 !!!
Yes I tryed without the sound jumper and I can program the tiny15 in the digital 8 pin socklet, but it's with 12v on the reset pin. not ISP. I got mail from San Jose and from norway (AVR@atmel.com)
but I still don't know how to make ISP with a stk100 !!!
But that I can do with my stk200, so now a can program my PCB prototypes
And if you work for Atmel how can it be so big a surprice that people try to use new parts, I had to ask for a include file for the tiny15 !!! it's not on the web, and who try to program tiny15 as a digital part not analog !!!
I like the produkts and support but I hate the flow of documentation, I still have my ES1200 4 MHz and 6 month later be able to get 16(20) MHz parts !!! so nothing changed !!!
Now it's bed time here in Seattle
Sorry, I meant the STK100. "STK500" was just a typo :)
The ATtiny15 is meant to be programmed in the Digital socket of the STK100 for some reason (designed by Kanda way before my time). There's a document on this which I can send you if you need it.
The .include files should be distributed as they're updated. The AVR Support Team has noted your feedback and will try to make the flow of documentation better, starting with facilitating everything the AVR Freaks webmaster needs. I love this site :)
