Hi,

My STK600 is stuck in firmware upgrade mode. Status led is blinking red/orange.
Atmel Studio 7 is detecting the board and ask to upgrade the firmware but failed to upgrade it.
I try to manually update the firmware following user manual indication, update failed with bootloader error.

I've try with or without routing attached with the same result. I also try with 3 differents computers (Win10/Win7).

I also search this forum but found no solution.

I can't contact Microchip support, the support page to open a ticket is not working...

Anyone has an idea ?

Thanks for your answers.

There's a command line tool that can be used for such updates that is supposed to "try harder" than the IDE method. Sadly I can't remember what it's called but it's likely an EXE with "fw" in the name.

Yes, it's fw. That's what I used to update manually.
The board is detected, update start but failed at the end with "error : bootloader failed".
