Hey,

I have kind of the same problem: I'm trying to connect the SAMD21 xplained board to the computer as CDC and the it does recognize it, but I have a driver problem (I attached a photo).

My target is to connect the chip to Android phone able to open COM port.

Somebody?

Dumb question,

Are you using the Target usb connector or the EDBG connector?  YOu need to move your USB cable to the Target USB connector after programming.

Got bit on that myself.

Yes, I moved it to the Target USB and after that I connect both together...

Having the same problem with Windows10. One of my colleagues developed a Programm which communicates with you over USB. On their Windows 7 PC's it works fine.

I can't get it working under Windows 10.

Any suggestions?

I loaded the "USB Device CDC Example - SAM D21 Xplained Pro" onto my board and then it worked.

Seems like something in the code was wrong.
