Hi,

I'm writing to let you know about MCUSim - open source simulator I've worked
on for a while. Providing a tool which is used to run ROM files to analyse
MCU behavior is a common idea of the project. You may find this goal similar
to the SPICE's transient analysis. I'd like to mention that the program is
under active development and not ready to be utilized be the end users.

There is a first development release you may download to get your hands dirty:

v1.0.0-alpha1.tar.gz

However, you'll highly likely find it more useful to clone master branch, build

and install it in order to get a tool which can only load Intel HEX file into a

program memory of a simulated MCU, and perform a few simple commands.

The simulator is written in ANSI C, doesn't have external dependencies and can,
virtually, be ported to any OS with appropriate C compiler.

It could be worth reading my humble plans for the next several months there: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/... mailtosarathy, feel free to comment on dev list :)
