Hi All,

I'm trying to get AS7 7.0.1417 to download code to a SAM G55 Xplained Pro board.  It's failing with the error message "Failed to set-up tool (no context id returned)."

I've re-installed the software and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the USB drivers a few times, but with no change.  The system is a 64-bit Windows 10 system.  Every USB port I try has the same behavior.

I've heard that the driver needs to show up under "Jungo Connectivity" but I'm seeing the device show up under "Ports" and "Universal Serial Bus Devices" (see attached Device Manager picture).

If I use "Zadig" to look at the USB drivers, the CMSIS-DAP(Interface 0) port is attached to the WinUSBv6.1.7600.16385 driver.  The EDBG Virtual COM port(Interface 1) is tied to usbser v1.1.0.0.  The EDBG Data Gateway(Interface 3) is tied to the usbser( v1.1.0.0) driver as well.

Any ideas on how to proceed with this?  I think I can get my external J-Link probe working after I get a connector installed, but getting the on-board EDBG chip working would be preferable.

Thanks!

Tim

Hi,

I'm also experiencing the same issue on the SAMG55 Xplained Pro board.  It was working just fine.  I was in the process of trying the USB CDC Echo example Start program when this started occurring.  Any help would be appreciated.
