Hello,

I am using Chan's FatFs library for interfacing a microSD card with a STM32L4 microcontroller. I am getting errors in find_volume(), which returns FR_NOT_READY, and in f_write(), which returns FR_DISK_ERROR, when I was using either a 8GB or a 16GB microSDHC cards.

When switcing to a 2GB normal microSD (microSDSC) card, those problems are gone!

Does anyone know if the FatFs library is compatible with the high capacity cards (which, I guess, are preformated to FAT32, compared to the standard capacity, which have FAT16) ?

Thanks!

Regards,

Andreea

ISTR something about FatFs have some variables too small for cards above a certain volume ... ?

Have you tried the FatFs forum: http://elm-chan.org/fsw/ff/bd/ ?

Err ... no - that's not Chan's site!

That is Tilen MAJERLE's site: https://stm32f4-discovery.net/about/

(but it is quite a good site for STM32 stuff in general)

But getting rather off-topic for AVRfreaks !

EDIT

About Tilen MAJERLE: http://majerle.eu/

Andy... I said "this link FROM Elm-Chan's site". Specifically near the bottom of http://elm-chan.org/fsw/ff/00ind...
