Hi all,

I would like to integrate the maXTouch Xplained Pro into a project.

Before ordering the board I'm looking for the datasheets for both the display controller (ILI9488) and the maXTouch capacitive touch screen controller.  I found the datasheet for the display controller, but didn't found one for the capacitive touch controller.  Where can I find more info about this controller?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

AIUI/IIRC Atmel tend to work directly with large customers for these controllers; they don't tend to release datasheets.

If you're not a "large customer", you're probably best going through a 3rd party like http://www.touchnetix.com/ (founded by the people from whom Atmel bought the technology)

Or just look for established drivers...

You could try raising a case through whatever the Atmel/Microchip support system is these days...

Another third party is Precision Design Associates (PDA)

PDA has a module with ILI9488 and ATmXT112S; its datasheet states ASF and the Linux kernel.

+1 for using the SAM4S

+1 For the Pink Floyd background on your project page

I was thinking for picking up a MaxPro but its a bit costly for a 4.3 in TFT. But I do like the FFC connector.
