You are going to need to give a bit more context - where were you trying this? What did you try?

Do you get this far? Do you have an Arduino sketch you want to create an AS7 project FROM?

Show your screen shot if you can get that far.  (Control + Print screen and then paste it here with Control V.)

As you can see I have a project in the Arduino folder ready to convert.

You do have the Arduino IDE already installed, don't you?

Control (sic) + Print screen

Takes a screenshot of the current active window (or dialogue/message box)

EDIT: That should be Alt + Print Screen

http://www.avrfreaks.net/forum/s...

and then paste it here with Control V.

That may not work - depending on your particular combination of operating system, browser, and, possibly, other factors.

If it doesn't work for you, then you will need to save the screenshot to a file[1], and then embed the image file in the post.

Instructions for embedding an image file here: http://www.avrfreaks.net/comment...

[1] eg, by pasting it into an image editor (such as Windows Paint), and then saving to file.

Allowed image file types are: jpg jpeg gif png bmp tif tiff.

EDIT

If you're on Windows, and have MS OneDrive (formerly, "SkyDrive"), it can be configured to automatically save screenshots to the Pictures\Screenshots folder.

That saves you having to manually go via an image editor.

EDIT 2

I thought I had posted this before, but couldn't find it.

Now I have: http://www.avrfreaks.net/forum/a...

EDIT 3

For Windows 7, 8, 10 there is also the Snipping Toolhttps://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/13776/windows-use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshots

(still may not paste direct to the forum, but does have a save-to-file facility)

You don't have board or device selected.

Which is "interesting". Those drop-downs always (?) has something selected, and it is not possible to select "nothing".

I wonder if there is something broken in the Studio installation that the OP has.

"He used to carry his guitar in a gunny sack, or sit beneath the tree by the railroad track. Oh the engineers would see him sitting in the shade, Strumming with the rhythm that the drivers made. People passing by, they would stop and say, "Oh, my, what that little country boy could play!" [Chuck Berry]

"Some questions have no answers."[C Baird] "There comes a point where the spoon-feeding has to stop and the independent thinking has to start." [C Lawson] "There are always ways to disagree, without being disagreeable."[E Weddington] "Words represent concepts. Use the wrong words, communicate the wrong concept." As noted in #7, Studio does rely on having the Arduino IDE installed for this - so maybe there's (also) some problem with that ... ?

Is it fussy about having a specific version of Arduino IDE, perhaps?
