Hey..

I have an issue with my atmega328P when i try to execute my software. I get no errors, and the software runs flawlessly, yet nothing happesn on my 328P.

I made the software almost a year ago, where it worked perfectly, so i know the code is not the issue. The issue lies in the execution of the code - it is never uploaded onto the 328P. I never see the % uploading when i execute the program (Start Without Debugging). After i try to run it, no matter how, it just says "ready" in the bottom line, without trying to upload the code on my chip. Why doesnt it upload it?? Do i have to tell the program to upload it when its executing the code?? pls help...

EDIT: just realised i get the error: [ERROR] Failed to launch. Error code 89710015

What does that mean?

Hi,

Are you using the latest version of Atmel Studio  ?

Workaround can be found here for the issue. http://www.atmel.com/Images/Atme...

Intel Video Driver Issue :

Issue relating to debug failing on machines with some versions of the Intel Video Driver. When starting a debug session, Atmel Studio does nothing. In the output window, the following message is printed. Failed to launch. Error code 89710015 This issue relates to the version of the Intel Video Driver. To fix it, go to the Intel web page or the machine manufacturer and download the latest driver available. After installing and rebooting the machine, debug should start working again
