Silly Title I admit...

I have a stack of never used Dragons sitting here that I have no need to hoard.  Seems that we have been getting quite a few threads on these with some looking for one so I thought I would offer up some of my hoard.

I pulled one randomly from the stack of ten and connected it to my Win7PRO laptop running AS7 and the Dragon enumerated and Studio upgraded the firmware in it and it was recognised in Device Programming so I am gonna keep that one for nostalgia.  I am not testing the rest.

What you see is what you get  One Dragon in its original box.  You pay the shipping.

Can of Smoke NOT included.

PM me if interested.

If you listened to power metal, I'd link you to the song "Where Dragons Rule" by DragonForce... Most of you folks here probably don't haha

I don't remember my Atmel ICE coming in such a cool looking box. I think I must've got ripped off.

Took a while to spot it in the photo, but...

You spoiled my fun Johan.  Good catch though, was waiting to see how long it took, but I think you missed another accidental plant that I would have thought you would find for sure.

The hoarder in me wants them. I already have one and barely use it between my Atmel Ice and xplained pros.

Drop the 'e'.  It's "Livingston" AKA "The Original Dragon Slayer!"

By the way.  Did you ever read the thread where I kept increasing the input voltage to an STK500, to see where it would let the smoke out?  It went poof at about 35VDC.  I don't know if I just got lucky but, a quick repair and it was up & running in about fifteen minutes.  In fact, That exact STK500 in my "Go-To" experimental board.  The TSV across the power input shorted and protected the rest of the circuitry because it loaded down the power supply that was powering the thing.

The Dragon, however, was not so well protected!!!

@Jim, I'd be interested in another Dragon (for old time sake) but I speculate that I already have too much stuff that I don't use.

I've used the HVPP programming on my dragon a few times, I always wanted to make some pcb adapters to just plug onto it for quick HVPP when needed.  I think someone may have made something like that.

All the dragons have been adopted!

Since I will not be able to get to the post office until Monday, I will take the time this weekend to make sure that the Dragons are recognised and updated their firmware with AS7, and that I can see them in the programming dialog screen.  Should any dragons fail the test then I will have to go by first PM, first served basis.

I will let everyone know that the dragons have left in a PM.
