Hello,

I'm just trying to design the software for a test transmitter.
And it is only about the transmitter. For this I will use the so-called POCSAG protocol for the call system (the digital alarm system).

Before I begin the implementation, I need to first calculate the error correction of the carryover code on the radio path.

Now to my question: how can I determine this error correction.

Does anyone know a possibility whether and how to do it?

greeting

Fef

The Wikipedia page seems pretty explicit:

"Experience is what enables you to recognise a mistake the second time you make it."

"Good judgement comes from experience.  Experience comes from bad judgement."

"When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not unicorns."

"Fast.  Cheap.  Good.  Pick two."

"Read a lot.  Write a lot."

"We see a lot of arses on handlebars around here." - [J Ekdahl]
