JTAG is efectively a chain of shift registers so if you connect the TDO of one device to the TDI of another you can create a chain of JTAG devices on one...

Why should printString() need to know the length anyway? Were you aware that a "string" in C is some characters followed by a byte that holds 0x00? So replace...

Often a decaying average is enough. But if you do not want to have any historical data after a given number of sampls, the simple moving average is better...

Yeah I tried BASCOM and wasn't huge into it. I'm really weird about the platforms I use to program. I either love them or hate them.
