Oh yeah, C is different which is one of the reasons I'm trying to forget it.  In C you may need to add an "enum" thing. enum cardsuit waveshape = CLUBS;

You probably want an opamp set to a gain of 20 or so. As the Doc points out, many opamps don't like inputs close to the rails nor do the outputs swing close to...
