  I used the AVR timer's ability to toggle an I/O bit on each overflow = 38KHz. Software bit toggling was deemed inferior by me, as I use that CPU time...

    Atmel Studio 6.x with the free Visual Micro plugin can program AVRs via AVRdude. The AVR should have optiboot or any other STK500 compatible...

Cliff, How can you run two projects in studio simultaneously then?  Even if you ran two Studios on the same machine, they both cannot share the debugger...

Often a decaying average is enough. But if you do not want to have any historical data after a given number of sampls, the simple moving average is better...

Yeah I tried BASCOM and wasn't huge into it. I'm really weird about the platforms I use to program. I either love them or hate them.
