Has anyone tried xPIC6C595 high voltage shift registers on Nixies ? These would support almost 37V of load line modulation, and static drive.

The debugger stopped right behind the two write commands: Register 0x0601 is written: Register 0x0241 is not written: What do I overlook here?

Can't argue with success...  PORTA.INTFLAGS = 0x80; in the ISR did the trick.   Why needed in this instance?
